Como Tudo Começou

        O Projeto Renova Jovem, se inicia com a história de vida de seu fundador Sandro José Pereira,  sua história começa com o relato da sua mãe, uma macaense que, em companhia da sua avó materna alcoólatra e moradora de rua, perambulavam pela cidade buscando sobrevivência aqui e à colá, tentando alguma forma de sobrevivência, uma vez que ainda muito jovem, já era mãe de duas meninas.

        Percebendo que os companheiros de rua, alcoólatras, que viviam com sua avó, intencionavam torná-la mulher deles também, achou melhor procurar os pais das crianças que residiam um em uma fazenda em Macaé e o outro em uma fazenda na cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes, e entregar as meninas para seus respectivos pais. Destacando que a família do pai que reside em Campos dos Goytacazes-RJ, ao receber a criança, ameaçou atear fogo em sua mãe, caso ela voltasse em busca da menina.

        Em seguida buscou abrigo na casa de uma tia, que em suas andanças, descobriu ser moradora do bairro do Miramar na cidade de Macaé-RJ. Ali passou a trabalhar como empregada doméstica e uma espécie de babá para suas primas mais novas. “Oficio” esse que se deu sequência quando sua tia à enviara para a cidade do Rio de Janeiro, em companhia de suas primas que foram concluir os estudos.

        Já na capital do Rio, aos 19 anos de idade, se envolveu com aquele que pensou ser o "grande amor" de sua vida. Pensamento esse que foi destruído 1 (um) ano após o nascimento do seu primeiro filho com ele. Pois, a seguir, deu-se um ciclo que a perseguia desde o seu nascimento, onde o problema com álcool se repetia, com o agravante das seguidas agressões físicas.

        Mesmo com tudo isso, não foi possível para ela, creiamos nós, que fragilizada e sem forças, dar um fim ao seu sofrimento; apesar de esperançosa de que haveria alguma mudança, diante da situação ela não enxergou outra opção se não ficar onde estava, pois a mãe era moradora de rua, o pai, até então, ela não conhecia e voltar para a casa da tia, em Macaé, ela não teve coragem.

        Foi quando um ano depois, em 27 de junho do ano de 1970, nasceu o então Fundador e Presidente do Projeto Renova Jovem Sandro José Pereira, aos 6 meses de gestação, no Hospital São João Batista, em Macaé-RJ, depois de mais um violento episódio de espancamento, quando sua mãe finalmente, muito machucada, fugiu do Rio de janeiro para Macaé com seu irmão de 1 ano  e alguns meses em seus braços e ele em seu ventre.

        Após 3 meses na incubadora, sua tia entrou em contato com seu pai, no Rio de Janeiro, informando a situação, explicando que não poderia abrigá-la, conseguindo convencê-lo a vir cuidar de sua família.
Ao chegar em Macaé, seu pai, depois de se dizer arrependido e haver feito promessas de que tais situações de violência não iriam mais se repetir, retornou com eles para o Rio de Janeiro. Contudo, havendo nascido mais um casal de filhos, um em 1973 e outra em 1980, os espancamentos foram constantes durante dois anos consecutivos. No fim do ano de 1982, sua mãe decide definitivamente abandoná-lo, pois sentia em seu coração, que uma hora, devido a crescente violência e os espancamentos, ela acabaria morta.

        Sem condições de fugir com todos os filhos, uma vez que em sua casa no Rio de Janeiro havia também aparecido sua filha do primeiro relacionamento em Macaé, que estava grávida, ela foge levando consigo apenas a filha nascida em 1980, sua filha mais velha e a neta recém nascida. Deixando para trás três filhos: Seu irmão mais novo com 9 anos de idade, e Sandro com 12 anos e o seu irmão mais velho, com 13 anos. Daí então, se já era difícil a situação para eles, sem sua mãe, os mesmos passaram a viver na Baixada Fluminense, no Rio de Janeiro, abaixo da linha da miséria. Foram tempos difíceis, o que fatalmente os arrastou para o universo que seu pai vivia.

        Suas vidas passaram a ser movidas pelo álcool e outras drogas. Perderam seu irmão mais velho assassinado por envolvimento da mesma natureza, aos 19 anos de idade. O que o deixou, devido a revolta e tristeza, mais afundado neste submundo, até a idade de 30 anos. Neste mesmo período... Após ficar foragido por 6 (seis) anos em São Paulo-SP, ele decide regressar para a cidade de Macaé-RJ, e reencontrar sua mãe e seus irmãos, pois a saudade deles o consumia.

        Chegando na cidade de Macaé-RJ, com a vida quase destruída, foi morar na casa de sua irmã mais nova, que o apresentou uma solução para findar com todo o seu sofrimento, revolta, mágoa, rancor, tristeza e a saúde debilitada por uma doença mortal ocasionada pelo uso e abuso de drogas; uma "bactéria produzida por agentes usados na mistura da cocaína", que se alojou no seu sangue comprometendo e infeccionando as suas válvulas aórtica, mitral, pulmonar e enraizando no coração. Socorrido no Hospital São João Batista em Macaé-RJ, foi descoberta uma doença denominada "endocardite", cujo conhecimento acerca desta ainda era muito prematuro, segundo o diagnóstico da equipe do hospital referência nacional em cardiologia, no bairro das Laranjeiras, no Rio de Janeiro, onde deu entrada mais morto do que vivo. Milagrosamente, a mão de Deus também estava lá instruindo cirurgicamente as ações dos médicos muito dedicados, fazendo valer a palavra que o apóstolo Paulo mencionou em uma de suas epístolas, que diz: "Ser Ele (Jesus) quem opera em nós, tanto o querer como o realizar, segundo a Sua boa vontade."

        Na mesma época em que retornou para junto de sua família, que finalmente se reestruturava, sua irmã lhe dizia que havia entregado a sua vida e a de seus familiares, aos cuidados do Senhor Jesus Cristo.
No começo foi muito difícil para ele acreditar nesta história, pois ele não acreditava mais em nada e em ninguém. O mais estranho pra ele, era que quando ela dizia que Jesus iria lhe conduzir à um Pai Amoroso, já que sua referência de pai era, de um alguém covarde e sem coração. Mas somente o Senhor Jesus sabe, como mais ninguém, nos ensinar o significado da palavra "Amor". E assim Ele foi lhe convencendo de uma forma real de que esse Pai existe.
A sua vida foi transformada de uma forma que, até hoje, lhe surpreende e lhe encanta, a ponto de haver se tornado impossível não partilhar tal Amor de Deus com todas as pessoas, sobretudo aquelas que nas comunidades carentes, vivem situações em que um dia ele viveu.

        Depois de 9 anos andando pelas mesmas ruas de Macaé-RJ (onde um dia, sua avó e sua mãe perambularam escravizadas pelo vício e a miséria), anunciando às pessoas que somente O Senhor Jesus Cristo "Salva, Liberta, Cura e Transforma", Deus concedeu ao Sandro e aos seus Colaboradores, a oportunidade de alugar um sítio no bairro Balneário Lagomar, e ali Fundar o "Projeto Renova Jovem", uma "Casa-Abrigo", para ajudar jovens e adultos que queiram se verem livres do problema com álcool e outras drogas.

        O Projeto Renova Jovem vem enfrentando muitas dificuldades, mas nenhuma delas impediu nem irão impedir a nossa luta por esta causa, que hoje é considerada o "Mal do Século". Contamos com toda e qualquer ajuda, pois são as mesmas que, depois de Deus, vêm nos sustentando há quase 4 (quatro) anos, onde tivemos o grande prazer e privilégio de ajudar mais de 350 jovens e adultos, dentre eles o pai e o irmão mais novo do Fundador e Presidente do Projeto Renova Jovem.
 

How It Began

   The Project Renews Young, begins with the life story of its founder Sandro José Pereira, his story begins with the story of his mother, a Macanese who, in company of his maternal grandmother alcoholic and homeless, roamed the city looking survival and paste here, trying somehow to survive, since a very young age, was already a mother of two girls.

 Realizing that fellow street alcoholics, who lived with his grandmother, imagine that they make it their wife also thought it best to seek the parents of one child who lived on a farm in Macae and the other on a farm in the city of Campos dos Goytacazes and deliver the girls to their parents. Noting that the father's family residing in Campos-RJ receives the child, threatened to set fire to his mother if she came in search of the girl.

 Then sought shelter in the home of an aunt, who in his wanderings, discovered to be living in the Miramar neighborhood in the city of Macaé. Ali went on to work as a maid and nanny for a species of their younger cousins. "Oficio" who gave this sequence when her aunt sent to the city of Rio de Janeiro, in the company of her cousins ​​who were completing their studies.

     

     Already in the capital of Rio, at 19 years old, was involved with that she thought was the "great love" of her life. Thinking that it was destroyed one (1) year after the birth of her first child with him. Well, then gave up a cycle that haunted her since birth, where the alcohol problem was repeated, with the aggravation of beatings followed.

  Even with all that, it was not possible for her, we believe that weak and powerless, put an end to their suffering, despite hopeful that there would be any change to the situation she saw no choice but to stay where he was because the mother was homeless, the father, until then, she did not know and go back to her aunt's house in Macae, she did not dare.

 That's when a year later, on June 27 of the year 1970, then was born the Founder and President of Project Renews Young Sandro José Pereira, at 6 months of gestation, at St. John the Baptist Hospital in Macae, Rio de Janeiro, after more beating a violent episode, when her mother finally too injured, fled the Macae to Rio de Janeiro with his brother 1 year and a few months into his arms and he in his belly.

  After 3 months in the incubator, his aunt came in contact with his father, in Rio de Janeiro, reporting the situation, explaining that he could not shelter her, managing to convince him to come take care of your family.
Arriving in Macae, his father, after he had made to say sorry and promises that such situations of violence would no longer be repeated, returned with them to Rio de Janeiro. However, being born over a couple of kids, one in 1973 and another in 1980, the beatings were constant for two consecutive years. At the end of 1982, his mother decides definitively abandon it because he felt in his heart that one hour due to increasing violence and beatings, she would end up dead.

   Unable to run away with all the children, once at his home in Rio de Janeiro had also appeared her daughter's first relationship in Macae, who was pregnant, she flees carrying only daughter born in 1980, his eldest daughter and newborn granddaughter. Leaving behind three children: Her younger brother, 9 years old, and Sandro aged 12 and his older brother, aged 13. So then, if it was already difficult situation for them, without their mother, they began to live in the Lowlands, in Rio de Janeiro, below the poverty line. Those were hard times, which inevitably dragged them to the universe that his father lived.

     Their lives began to be moved by alcohol and other drugs. Lost his older brother murdered by involvement of the same type, at 19 years of age. What made because of anger and sadness, more sunk in this underworld, until the age of 30 years. In the same period ... After being on the run for six (6) years in São Paulo-SP, he decides to return to the city of Macae, Rio de Janeiro, and find his mother and his brothers because their longing consumed him.

   Arriving in the city of Macae, Rio de Janeiro, with nearly destroyed his life, went to live in the home of his younger sister, who introduced a solution to end with all its suffering, anger, hurt, anger, sadness and poor health by a deadly disease caused by the use and abuse of drugs, a "bacteria produced by agents used in the mixture of cocaine" which lodged in his blood infecting and compromising their valves aortic, mitral, pulmonary and rooted in the heart. Rescued at St. John the Baptist Hospital in Macaé, was discovered a disease called "endocarditis" whose knowledge this was still very premature, according to the diagnostic team national reference hospital in cardiology in the neighborhood of Orange, in Rio de Janeiro where lodged more dead than alive.

    At the same time he returned to be with his family, which eventually restructured, his sister told him he had given his life and his family in care of the Lord Jesus Christ.
At first it was very difficult for him to believe in this story, because he no longer believed in anything or anyone. The strange thing for him, that was when she said that Jesus would lead you to a Loving Father, as his father was a reference, a coward and heartless person. But only the Lord knows, like anyone else, teach us the meaning of the word "Love." And so He was convincing him in a real way that this Father exists.
His life was transformed in a way that, even today, it surprises and delights him, to the point of having become impossible not to share this love of God to all people, especially those in poor communities, living situations in one day he lived.

  After 9 years walking the same streets of Macaé (where one day, his grandmother and his mother wandered enslaved by addiction and poverty), announcing to people that only the Lord Jesus Christ "Salva, Liberta, Heal and Transform" God gave Sandro and their employees, the opportunity to rent a place in the neighborhood Balneario Lagomar, and there Found "Project Renew Youth", a "House-Shelter", to help young people and adults who want to get rid of the problem with alcohol and other drugs.

     The Project Renews Young has faced many difficulties, but neither prevented nor will they prevent our fight for this cause, which today is considered the "Evil of the Century." We count on any help because they are the same, after God, are supporting us for almost four (4) years, where we had the great pleasure and privilege of helping over 350 young people and adults, including his father and brother younger Founder and President of Project Renews Young.
